Installing X Window
I am trying to install Ubuntu on a computer, but the X window server won't install properly. I recieved the ISO images from the Ubuntu site and ran all the tests specified to ensure the use of an uncorrupted CD. How do I install the correct X window? Thanks for your help.

The problem seems to be with my screen itself. The error report says something along the lines of not being able to detect it. I tried installing Ubuntu-6.06.1-desktop-i386 earlier but now am installing 7.04 with the same problem.
