Try this link, http://www.linux-usb.org/USB-guide/c122.html Perhaps that will help some. I personally have never tried one.
It seems that it is a rather hit and miss thing with them. I definatly recommend checking some hardware lists to see if anyone has had any luck with your distro and modem. OOPS! Statica: I edited the link to make it work Last edited by Statica; 10-05-2001 at 05:37 PM. |

Hello,
My modem is from Aztech (http://www.aztech.com) I've tried the linux-usb.org but failed. I didn't found any record from the lhd.datapower.com modem database. Is there any other way to make my USB modem work under Linux? Thank you. |

Sadly, I don't think so. But if you haven't, I would check RH's hardware database. Perhaps search some other Linux BBS'S. The Manufacterers don't often write drivers for Linux, and seldom will release info for anyone in the Linux community to do so for them.
I think the fact is you will need to purchase a hardware modem (which will install like a breeze). OOPS! |
