Ubuntu & VMware
![]() Hello, I installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my VMware 6.0.0 but the screen is smaller than suppose to be I add it the vmware tools did way the video says on the videos "better resolution using ubuntu 8.10 in vmware" Two message comes out in red no green letters after the ls -l VMwareTools-6.0.0-45731.i386.rp VMwareTools-6.0.0 -45731.tar.gz Help on this thanks, Last edited by stcordero; 05-24-2009 at 10:42 AM. |

I'm doing it the other way around, running XP and Windows 7 RC in VMware Player with Ununtu as the host. To get full screen, I merely changed the resolution. Don't know if this will work for you or not.
