dual booting
hi, i would like to be able to boot up with either windows (which i don't like much) or linux. what is the easiest and cheapest way to do this and what are the details. thanks very much forum.

The basic thing is to figure out if you want to use partitions, or a separate drive to install linux on.
After you have the space, it should be as easy as installing linux. After that you will get a boot option where you can choose which os you want. You can search this site for dual boot and find several posts describing it.

Also, you mention the cheapest way to go about this - erm, it'll cost you the price of blank CD!
