PCLinuxOS 2009

I installed PCLinuxOS 2009 on an old computer specs are Pentium 800mhz 256mb ram and an old 10 gig hardrive.

Runs really good and boots faster then my XP pro computer plays flash games well but youtube videos are kind of choppy even installed my pci wireless card without me messing around finding drivers for it like windows but anyways just thought I would post this incase someone out there was going to throw out there old computer.....Think again

By the way is there a setting or something I could do to make youtube videos run a little faster? if no thats OK it runs good even better then when I had windows 2000 on it.

wow this was fast...they really didnt take as long as 08....

I have PC Linux OS on my old rig and I really liked it...

everything really worked well...better than other distros that I couldnt get working out of the box...

I liked the fact the 3D stuff was actually easy to enable and it all worked...

I had trouble on the same rig with Ubuntu and other flavors getting 3D stuff to work at all...

My wife has a computer that's 1.2 Ghz has win xp pro and 256 mb ram it is a snail compared to the 800mhz listed above with PClinuxOS 2009, I'm going to add a second hard drive install linux and make my wifes computer dual boot...
