multi boot visa and linux

I have a laptop with multi boot operating system visa and linus. Every time it boots up, I have to choose the operating system. Can I set it up to have Linus start up every time it boots ups when I don't choose the OS . At the present time visa starts,when their's no OS choosen. I would like to have my password and ID intered automaticly.

Are you using the linux bootloader, or the windows bootloader?

What version of linux?

Did you install windows then ubuntu?

If so, then you're using linux bootloader called grub.

The windows procedure worked find. Thanks, just one more thing
I would like to have my password and ID automaticly entered at boot up on Ubuntu 9.04
