Boot from LAN CD-rom?

I got Linux(Mandrake 8.0) running, but I got a few problems.

I want to use the CD-rom in Windows 2000 PC, I already have the network cards in both PCs, but I'm not sure what to do next.

I have Linux running, but I had to open the case and temporarily attach a CD-rom to do so. I'm thinking about re-installing Linux, unless I can find out how to (1) add another NIC, (2) change my video settings, and (3) use the CD-rom on my Windows PC. I think it still thinks that there is a CD-rom inside the case.

Any ideas?

Logan
