greedo Connecting to the inet through the Linksys router

Hi,
i'm trying to get to the internet on my redhat. I have a Linksys router, but i don't use the dhcp.
here's what i did:
set up the hostname: Redhat
ip: 192.168.1.25
default gateway: 192.168.1.1
network: 192.168.1.0
broadcast: 192.168.1.255
DNS: 24.153.23.66
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

i think that's it.
i can ping a machine on my LAN, but when i try to ping the outside machine it telss me the host is unknown. The wicked part is that i can traceroute to that same machine. What am i doing wrong? please help me
