Problem with WinLInux
Dl and installed WinLinux 2001 on my hard drive.
Win '95 with 256mb ram and 40g hd. When I try to boot into WinLinux I have some info scroll across the screen and then I recv the following "Kernel Panic vfs:Unable to mount root fs on 08:01" I have tried what is listed on the web page in the faq known errors says my partition is sda1. Entered that into the configuration and still get the same error msg. There customer service and online assistance is of no assistance. I have left four messages on the web page and as many e-mails over the last three days. Can't find any phone number listed anywhere on the web page to call for assistance. If anyone is familiar with WinLinux and can be of assistance to get it working I would greatly appreciate any information. tks ChEERS

Problem with WinLinux
Hope this answers both questions
http://www.winlinux.net/ A version of Linux that will run on Win that you are 'supposed' to be able to boot into just like any other prgram that runs on windows if you can get it too boot. Click on the icon on your desktop and starts Winlinux See the web page for further info. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get it to run? tks len |
