Mandrake 8.1 install question
Hi Guys,
I am using System Commander 7.0 to manage the partitions on my HDD. When I try to install Mandrake 8.1 using the wizard, it asks me if I want to install Linux below 8GB on the HDD. It says that many versions on Linux, when installed on a large HDD, must be installed under the 8GB mark. Is this true with Mandrake 8.1? I can also tell the program not to restrict where Linux is installed. Any advice? I can't seem to find any documentation on this issue online. Thanks, freezinbutt |
