bootloader not loading
Hey guys,
I've got a friend that put linux on his computer and when he defragmented his harddrive yesterday the bootloader failed to load so now he can't get into an operating system. Sorry I don't know anymore about the situation. He is about 6 hours away from here. Thanks, Josh |

I assume he's dual booting? If he is, he needs to boot from a Linux boot disk and rerun Lilo/Grub. That should get it up and going again. If he's running XP and using that bootloader, well I cherish my ignorence of XP
