I did somehting very stupid!!! I went into BIOS to take off my password and instead of click the option "disable password" I went to set new password and it asked me 3 things. First it asked for my old password and I put that in and hit enter. then it asked for my new password and I left it blank and it went to the next question, "confirm new password" and i left it blank and hit enter again. I exited BIOS and saved my changes, it rebooted and the BIOS password came up so I put in nothing and hit enter and it said "NO!" I tried my old password and that didn't work. I did this on a laptop so I don't want to open it up and flash the memory, so I have another option???

You don't need to flash the memory but you will need to reset the bios to the defaults in order to clear the password.

I have looked through the internet and tried all the passwords that have applied to me but none of them have worked so far. Is there a universal default password that I can use to get by my BIOS right now???
