Just got Redmond Linux running on this p2 450 on a 4 gig scsi drive.

I think I am soo bad now! Now comes the hard part of getting my game server software running..... gulp.... |

You can download any Linux distribution from here for free.

I may try to download the ISO and see how it works. I have been using Mandrake for a while now and am happy with it but I like to try different distros. |

Many may say that redmond is not really linux. All I can say is the install took less time than any windows install I have done and it saw every component in the system. It set up the nic, went thru the switch, and found its way to the dsl modem/router and onto the isp and the net.
All by itself. This thing could do away with windows.... I am pleased. Got on email and the forums no prob. |
