firewall with out the HDD?
I got an Aopen AP5T with about 32MB of EDO RAM(can put DIMMs on, but doubt it would be worth the $$$) with a 100MHz Pentium, S3 video(runs Linux, at least) 3 3Com NICs, and a 2GB HDD.
I have read somewhere that a router/firewall can be made without a HDD, is this possible? What would I have to do? (I don't want to add a CD-ROM or floppy unless I have to) TIA, Logan

In order to run an OS you must have something to boot from ie. cdrom, harddrive, floppy. You can run the linux router project from a floppy. I have heard some really good things about LRP.
