Thanks for the links,
Do you duel boot? , if so what other O.S do you use, I want a form of windows on my comp as my college course demands windows use - for access, powerpoint etc... I have a wide range of O.S that i can but on, it doesnt really botherme what wondows O.S - just aas long as it will work with linux, so any suggestions? |

Sure, most of the installs I've set up are dual boot. However, they were all based on windows using the 9X kernal structure: 95,98,Me. Personally I never had any real problems using the Linux Loaders. Grub, or LiLo. If you want to look at the stuff, you log as root and open up the control panel --->System --->Boot Manager. That loader is for LiLo. It is menu driven, but you still need to know your partition structures.
