Thanks! Looks like a good release, with KDE 3, mozilla 1, and all sorts of other goodies. Downloading now. I'm still torn between putting slack or free bsd on my 2nd box for learning *nix though...

Just installed slack 8.1, its great! KDE 3 is very nice as well... The only snag I had was configureing the shell (tcsh) the way I wanted it, but I figured out to copy tcsh.login to my home directory, edit it, then rename it .tcsh so Konsole loads it everytime you start the program. Actually Im sending this message from the terminal using lynx! Its crazy browsing the forums from the CLI.
