Bloody pi**'d off
I've been waintg so long to have the ime to sort out my comps and get myself on linux
The plan was to use and ol (and i mean old) box to host my site and use my decent comp for linux (network them and share internet) , today has been the first day i've had off to play with it all and after letting the four boot disks of win2000 load up i got a bloody - opp sorry - error saying that win2000 needs at least 64mb ram, Ahhhh Gonna have to buy me another 'old' comp but not so old, Another set back Will i ever get there. . . - lol |

Why were you loading 2K on it? Makes more sense to run the web server off of some BSD or older Linux distro, IMO...

the plan was to put win2000 on to the old computer (and have that hosting the site) and then use my decent computer for linux - that way i can get firmiliar with linux a bit before i use it as a server
I dont think it would of been a good idea to jump straight into linux hosting without having a bit of knowledge first |
