Thumbs down It can be done!

Unfortunatly the arrogant Microsoft os can not see any partition types that are not native to it (it can see NTFS, FAT, FAT32). The linux kernel on the other hand has native support that can be compiled into it either staticly or as a module to be able to view and write to a windows partition (FAT32 is fully supported but NTFS is currently experimental as far as writing to it).

However you can view your Linux shares from windows, all you have to do is install Samba, set it up and off you go! Samba is a rather extensive package and comes with a plethora of documentation. Depending on how you installed your Red Hat system, chances are you already have samba installed. It's not very difficult to configure, but does take a little bit of time.

Hope this answers your question!
