oh I simply used XawTV since it wasn't nearly as picky as the others. It's nice and much faster than WebTV for Windows. Too bad it doesn't have interactive tv or guide plus... not that I ever used them.

I have xawtv but I only get a fuzzy picture and sound how do I tune it in? or is it a configuration problem?

Make sure you have the right encoding: NTSC for North and South america, PAL for Europe, SECAM for Japan Australia and New Zealand if I'm not mistaken. Have you set any channels yet? Do you know that you can receive a good signal- ie do you have a good antenna hooked up and have you tried it in maybe windows?

I now know what the problem is xawtv it stuck on one channel the picture is great for that one channel but no matter what I do I cannot change the channel I can cycle through the channels but the picture remains the same.

how very odd... are you sure all your other channels are set correctly?
