enlightenment
Ok very new to linux. Just installed redhat 7.3 and that all went fine. Am trying to install enlightenment. It was a tar file, so I uncompressed it and then extracted the files. The problem now is that there is a readme and install file but I dont now how to open them - to see what to do next. Told ya, very new to linux

Provided, you have an X graphical desktop up, right click on the file and use open with , and type in kedit or gedit , for the readme file.

I was going to suggest vi, but I thought it would be a bit complicated for a new user, any way, you need to learn how to use a text editor sooner or later, my fav is vi and it has a tutorial, so I you have some time, give it a try, type vi filename
