I would rather dowload slackware and slap wine on there. Or maybe even go out and buy Mandrake gaming edition. Why would I pay 100 bucks for an OS? Thats why I swithced to linux in the first place!

I've heard some different reviews for lindows, I heard that in a beta version WINE's performance wasn't any better than in any other distro, and that it didn't seem to have too many benefits, granted it was a beta version. Personally, I'll stick with RH or Mandrake. The key thing being is you don't have to pay, After using linux for a while, you don't even miss Windows and you have no desire to even use an os called Lindows. The only thing I miss is gaming
but, the newest version of WINE even supports Black & White and Warcraft III, it's only going to be a matter of time before most games will be supported with no problems in Wine, my advice, stick with a linux distro.

unfortunately the newest version seems to have sacrificed a good deal of compatibility fo the ability to play games extremely well- MFC support isn't as correct. Well, at least you can have two vesions on your system! If you want WineX for free (legally) go here You'll have to compile it, but this little doozie will work on any system. Try it on your lin and see if you like it before deciding on lindows.
