Aix
I just got an IBM RS/6000 with a factory configured AIX O/S;and i had to install a graphics adapter personally. The problem now is it boots up and goes through all the POST operations however when it reaches a screen that says"Starting software" it goes through some operations and then hangs right there. I just wanted someones opinion before ic all tech support

What version of AIX? What RS6000? What grafix adapter? Is it on the AIX HCL?
If it is factory warranted, I'd go with tech support. I donno how they are going to go through with hardware changes for providing support.
