Does anybody know if I can obtain drivers for my PCI modem, cus it hasn't been recognised by SUSE 7.0 . I know that the modem I have HSP MicroModem is a Winmodem (stupid of me!), which is badly supported, but I am stuck with it and can't access the internet with Linux.
Anyone know any site with info, I would much appreciate it. |

I don't know if they have support for HSP's yet, you'll have to look around. Last time I checked there were drivers about for Rockwell HCF's and Lucent Winmodems, but if there's hope for that modem you'll probably find some references there. Xayd |

Thanks
Thanks for the info guys, looks like there isn't much support for the HSP at the moment. Do I have to have a specific driver for the modem or can I use a different one? Me thinks not, but I'm not sure.
Hold on, I think HSP modems are PCTEL chipset? Does anyone know if I'm right? [Edited by CragStar on 10-15-2000 at 04:01 PM] |

Yeap, they're PCTEL. The driver mentioned there might work, give it a shot.
