Just set up Mandrake 9.0 on my PC to dual boot with XP Home. Everything went smoothly, and I am looking forward to tinkering. I am sure I will be asking for help along the way; I have already learned a lot reading past posts.

Welcome to the Penguinistas! Mandy is a good choice. 9.0 has been very easy to use for me. Have fun with it and enjoy the new world you are entering.

OOPS!

I recently moved from Mandy 8.2 to Redhat 8. Now, I don't think my wife ever wants to go back to windows. I'm only using it for gaming, until I can get 3d drivers working right for my Radeon 7500. The easier solution would be to get an Nvidia card or a Radeon 8500.

Good luck!
