Mandrake 9 & Promise Raid HELP!!!!
I am running a p4 with onboard raid (Promise PDC20276) with 2 identical 60Gb Maxtor hdd's.
The problem is that when i install mandrake 9 it doesnt recognise my raid and wants to destroy the raid partition. I think the problem is probably just mandrake that needs a boot disk with the right raid drivers on but i have no clue how to make the disk and where to get the drivers. Im kinda new to the whole linux thing, i got my raid going with rh7.3 but have played around with mandrake on another pc and prefer it!!! Any help would be appreciated!! Thnx |

Although this is for Mandrake 8.2, it might be worth a shot. Who knows, it might work for 9.0 as well. HTH |
