No need. Just insert the disc and mandrake will make all necessary partitions.

I have the two running on my machine and they run like a dream. I use the Mandrake bootup menu to choose which system to use.

Like Dswissmiss said just insert the Mandrake CD and let it do the work. I had XP installed first and Mandrake installed itself on a seperate partition

Just note you will not be able to write to the NTFS partition, but you fill be able to read from it.

Hey streams,

I'm running a dual boot with XP and Red Hat 8.0 - how do I find/read the NTFS partition while in Linux?

If you intend to "add" to these files while in Linux, then these files ned to be on a FAT32 partition. Linux does not write well to NTFS -- sometimes it works, sometimes it destroys NTFS. As for the actual installation, just make sure that you backup any mission-critical files on your Windows partition and jump right in.
