I just recently removed linux (was a dual boot) from a HDD and am using it in a regular windows system. Tho fdisked and formatted, it aways booted by going to LILO, defaulting to dos and then booting windows. Now however it is showing only LI and stopping... how can I fix???

Fdisk your master boot record (with Win9x fdisk, not Linux fdisk) and lilo will be gone. If Win9x is still there uncorrupted it should work fine.
C:\>fdisk /mbr Xayd |

That did it Xayd.... you're a life saver. I did try booting with the redhat cd, but found no linux partitions to delete. Thanks a million.
