Anyone know anything about XMMS?
When I try and load files into my playlist, they don't appear when I click ok. This means I can't listen to any music, cause everytime I click play it wants me to add a file to play, which it won't do! Last edited by mrstirs; 03-04-2003 at 12:19 PM. |

Ok, problem solved :P Should have looked before posting, but it needed a different rpm to work with Red Hat 8.0!
Another question if noone minds...I've got a Creative Audigy soundcard, which Red Hats recognises no problem...any way to make stuff play through all my speakers? Only plays through the front ones in Linux! |

I've been having the same speaker problems with my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, only the back speakers work with linux. I remember asking about this a while back, and found out that drivers for the TBSC do not exist, don't know about your card though. I can' get any help lately either, because none of the linux hardware compatibility sites seem to be working.

Hi,
I think you need to be using ALSA drivers to get surrond sound. I don't know RH8.0, but I don't think that ALSA is installed by default. HTH, OOPS!
