Angry Configuring X Server

Hey guys,
I have just installed Slackware 7.1 and everything works fine except for X Windows. I tried running XF86config multiple times and resetting everything t odifferent sizes but whenever I start X I just get a part of it and its too small to view windows or anything. I have an Impression3 3428G and an onboard video on an Intel 810 board I believe. Can anyone help me or tell me how I can change the settings and make it work? The console works fine, but I'm sort of a newbie so I want to use X as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The stock Xfree86 Nvidia driver is not the best, however a better driver is available by download from Nvidia. It's a closed source driver, but they seem to have done a good job with it.

Read the instructions closely. They also have a forum at Nvidia for exchange of ideas and getting help.
