Samba Server as a BDC

I have researched this one a bit but haven't come to any great conclusions. I have a Windows NT network, that I am slowly converting over to Linux on the Server Side of things. So I currently have a NT Server as the PDC. I am adding a Linux Server (Samba) to be used as a Fileserver.

The biggest problem that I have encountered so far is that I haven't really found a good way to sync username, groups and passwords between the two without having to manually add them to both machines. The version of Samba is 2.2.8 and I also have Winbind running. Any ideas on this would be appreciated.
