Hi again Force_flow just checked out a pc mag and it says requirements are 200mhz processor 64mb ram and 800MB hard drive space. I recently put Mandrake on my comp and I have a 40gig drive which i put windows Me on and then loaded Mandrake from the cd. Mandrake then lets you choose partition sizes, and for no particular reason i chose 20 gig for windows and 20 gig for Mandrake.

It's an 80 gigger. I'm using about 50 now. Would I be able to fit it comfortably on a 10GB partition?

Around 8GB is more than enough for Mandrake (assuming you use a fat32 partition to share files (as in MP3s ;-) ) between winblowz and linux).

This depends on the version of redhat, and how much stuff you are going to install, I'm using RH 8 right now, with lots of stuff installed, it takes about 2.5GB for Linux files and apps that come with RH.
Anyway, if you don't install everything, but choose what you need, you'll be OK.
