Boom Help! I just installed Mandrake!

This was the most frightening O/S installation I've been though. I can still see my fingerprints embedded in my desk

Anyway, I installed Mandrake 9.1 to "windows free space", but I cannot find where it is installed when I boot up in windows.

Here's my HDD setup:
HDD0 - C(win98); D(win2k); E(data & progs)
HDD1 - F(winXP); G(empty 10GB partition); H(empty 52GB partition

Can I uninstall Mandrake and install it so it's on my G drive? How can I do this?

A linux partition is not visible within windows (you can use ext2fsread to see the files on it).

Hi,

You were scared? Pshaw! Piece of cake man!

Yes you can reinstall Mandy to your G drive. When you get to the part about making your partions just tell Mandrake to reformat your old install to fat32 and then repartion your G drive to install Mandrake on.

HTH,
OOPS!

Wait, so what option do I choose? I have three choices. The second being the free space and the third being custom. I choose the third, right?

Can you explain it a little better, please? Remember, I have no idea what I'm doing here.

Are there any step-by-step instructions anywhere on how to install this thing?

Not exactly. I was wondering if you could go though the steps of how to uninstall mandrake, then how to install mandrake on an existing partition.

P.S. - Thanks for the links LiGhTBoY and MikeL!

Nevermind about the installation procedure, OOPS!. I think some of the guides at www.yolinux.com explain it fairly well.

Now, all that's left is how to uninstall it.

Never mind. I've peen playing with it for a few hours now, and I decided not uninstall it. I guess it's not really hurting anything.
