question about installing redhat
hi,
i'm planning to download the 3 redhat cds and wanted to install it onto a pc i have, problem is i have want windows completely off the machine, it's old and not used anymore. is this possible? i don't want to split the disc, want a fresh clean start with redhat and nothing else on the harddrive. if it's possible could someone please point me to some instructions on how to do this? Thank you. |

Red hat will do it all for you. When you get to the partitioning part of the install, choose automaticlly partition and on the next screen choose remove existing partitions. Red hat will repartiton and reformat the entire drive and windows will be gone.

Also, if you need to boot from a floppy, (cause you can't boot from a CD) then loolk on CD 1, the tools are on it for creating the boot floppy.
