I can't seem to print to a non-postscript printer accross a win2k network from a mac client. The printer is on the server and I'm using DAVE as the IP client software on the mac side. DAVE says it can only print to a ps printer! can this be? Is there a way to fool the mac into thinking there is a ps printer somewhere and then translate it into a normal print file and sent to the printer, automatically if possible.
I've heard of a program called ghostscript but I wonder if there's a better way.
