I just installed mandrake a couple days ago but haven't been able to get online with it because of my modem. Can't wait to get dsl on tuesday. Now about your question. One thing I herd is that red hat has a higher rate of being able to use winmodems. But besides that I have no idea.

well i have only spent about 45 minutes in each so far and it seems that Mandrake has a better bootloader, but redhat is simpler and easier to use and i get confused in mandrake.

I know what you mean, I've only used mandrake for about an hour all together, and that was trying to fix everything my mother screwed up. Here's a tip, don't allow mandrake to auto load a user, I mean make sure you have to enter your password to log in. Some how my mother managed to mess it up so bad I had to reload it.

Have any of you Linux guys ported Safari to Linux yet. It was designed and built on the Konqueror code so should be pretty easy.
