Anyone used XP to delete Linux partitions?
In a XP / Linux Dual-boot, has anyone used XP Disk Management to delete the Linux partition(s) and create a new NTFS partition with the new unallocated space?
I know you can use Linux FDISK or even MS FDISK to delete Linux partitions - but what about XP Disk Management? |

XP just sees a linux partition as a "healthly (unknown partition)". I belive you can just delete the partition, create partiton and format NTFS.

God. This is so microsoft. They won't give xp the functionality to read linx prtitions because they don't want to promote linux; they give it just enough functionality to delete linux partitions.

Thanks guys.
I couldn't see any reason why it wouldn't work but I just needed to have it confirmed by someone who had done it.
