nforce and RH9, I need help

I just reinstalled RH9 on my system. I had uninstalled it after getting tons of help but I still couldn't manage to get the thing working. I figure now its time to have another go. I am using the A7N8X motherboard with RH9. I believe the kernel is version 2.4. I need to know how to install the NIC. No matter what rpm's I install it wont work. I tried using the tar file method but its like trying to read greek. Somebody please help me get this working.

I am new to this and I want to get some Linux under my belt.

Hey, I actually had this same problem. The end result was that I found a third party rpm somewhere that got the onboard nic working perfectly.

Unfortunately, I don't still have it, but I know I found it on nvidia's site on the linux forums somewhere.

I'm sure the people here will be much more helpful:
