linux wine for mac OS X
Does WINE, the application for linux that allows windows applications to be run work in Mac OS X? I am trying to think of all possible ways to play games on mac os X.

You could compile it to run in X-11 if you can get the source code or you could run Virtual PC, but either 1 won't work as they don't support hardware accelleration on a Mac and most Wintel Games will require it. A better way is to just buy games for mac. Most new games are available a couple of months after they are released for x86. You could also try loading the Wintel game directly on the mac. This work for some games. Just follow these instructions and adapt for other games.
