Iso Images

I am attempting to download and install RedHat on a 3rd partition of my XP machine. I have down loaded 3 iso images form the red hat web site and now I believe I need to mount them on 3 cd's in order to install. I originally simply copied them to the cd's, as iso type, and attempted to boot from cd for insulation. That didn't work. Neither did my attempt to create and use a RedHat boot disk. Question is how do I "mount" iso images to a cd-r using win/dos? RedHat site gives specific instructions but only is you are already on a UNIX machine. Please help I am just learning UNIX here......

There should be a free program called IsoBuster on the internet somewhere. Just do a search for it. Download that program and then use it on your .ISO files. They should then extract those files either straight to a CD or the hard drive. I think the hard drive. Anyways, then you can copy them to a CD. Just have to play with it. Try it and let me know where you are at.

I downloaded the program and am now trying to figure out how to use it. I am not familiar with this. It is reading the iso file as a cd. Of the several extraction options I tried one. It opened up some files but they don't look right. I will keep playing...thanks

If you have nero, then its easy
Just open nero, go to 'file' -> 'burn image'
Then find your .Iso's and burn them. It will automatically expand them onto the disks
I have only done this on nero, but it should be something similar on some other burning programs, but most likely not all of them can do it.
