I recently installed the downloaded edition of Mandrake 9.1 with an ATi Radeon 7000(64MB, composite and S-Video out
). The problem is that Mandrake was running my monitor at 113Hz! The monitor is a 21" Dell Trinitron, but 113Hz seems a bit high. So, I set it for a generic capable of 1600x1200 @76Hz, it was running my monitor at 90Hz...The problem is that I'm see ghosting(looks like a transparent copy of everything on screen...) and occasional white or black lines will flash on the screen when I open or close a window in KDE... I'm using KDE 3.1 Any suggestions? TIA, L J
