I have Linux:Knoppix What do i do now?

i just booted into Knoppix and just tried to find something to do.

but first i must know some stuff.
but then, i dont know what to know
i should try to set up my internet connection first.......but then again, i dont know how to do this.

i would also like to acces myt HDD....but i dont know how to do this also....(think its called mounting)

i short again
i dont know what to do, how to do it and how to learn it.
pls help me figgure out what to do.

you might consider goint to your local book store and get a book on linux

most of the commans are the same in all the differant distrows

I've found this site helpful in the past. And here's another one with all the basic UNIX/Linux commands. Like bailey suggested, check out you local bookstore/techstore for a intro to Linux book which should cover all of the basics including mounting drives.

rave, this book is a excellent linux source, you can download a copy also, it's so helpful I downloaded it, then purchased a copy.

This might be of some help as well. http://en.tldp.org/ I learned alot buy getting a couple books at my local book store, and using it as much as possible. The more hands on you get, and the more you read about it, the easier it is for you.

hmmmmmmmmm..........should go for one of those Dummy books(eg. Linux For Dummies) or go for a more sober book(eg. Bible or something)
i need something that can explain thouroughly what i'm supposed to do because i am BLURRRRRRRR.........
