BeOs

I have a couple of questions regarding Be OS.
1. Where can I get it. (someone told me it was free online)
2. Will I have compatability problems?

Thanks for your help!

A poll...
Pentium 4 Extreme Editon is just a typo. The true name is. Oh man, we should have started making a 64 bit part for consumers a long time ago.
1.Agree
2.Disagree

I have BeOS Personal Edition [it is a scaled down version for those who want to see the system]. The Personal Edition is stored in a typcial folder, within Window, like any other program. Except when you start it, it shuts down Windows and loads BeOS. I haven't had any problems running it, or having it interefere with Windows.

The BeOS OS is pretty nice. Kinda Mac like, kinda Windows 9x like, except it is designed for mulitmedia. Quite a OS. There just isn't much in the way of programs. However, I understand there is a group that conitnued to develop the OS.

I haven't seen the OS for download online lately, but with a little searching you should be able to find it, or a BeOS developer that has the complete OS.
