Linksys WPC11 setup troubles in Red Hat

Running Red Hat 9 under GNOME...the system recognizes my Linksys WPC11, but I cannot seem to set it up to associate with my AP. I believe I have all the settings correct, but upon activating it I get this message:

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument.
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument.

What am I doing wrong?

No. sometimes there are so many threads one gets missed. If I see a thread with 0 answers I will bump it so it gets to the front of the cue and hopefully someone will help.

I know jack doo doo about Linux, and for some reason they are not replying to you here, however if I do a Google search for

"Set Mode" (8B06)

and for
"Set Frequency" (8B04)

and for
"Set Encode" (8B2A)

I get results all pointing to various wireless NIC's. Perhaps you can understand what the flying fruitcakes they are talking about.

I also found a Redhat site called Bugzilla that has a search engine for error coeds and messages at http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/index.cgi.

I don't understand it but you may.
