Quick Question on macs...

Is there any way of installing the Mac OS onto a PC? or do you need to specifically buy a Mac computer.

I don't know much about macs, but you can't install macos on the pc, but i think you can run windows on a mac

OSX is just unix with a custom X theme on top of it.

You can get the base OS for a PC for free but not the desktop theme.

As for OS9 and below, no they will not run on a PC.

Xayd is correct. OS X is BSD Unix with the aqua interface on top. A command line only version is available at apple's website for the x86 platform, called Darwin. Not much use to most people without a GUI though. Other than that, there was only 1 emulator i have ever seen for the x86 to run mac os and that only ran system 7. Haven't seen anything newer.
