Linux Gaming
I want to run linux, but I also want to be able to play DirectX games.
I know that Half-life will run under WINE, but WINE does not support Direct3D does it? My question is...Is there a free version of WINE X that I could use to play Direct3D games on a linux system?

WineX will play most of the games (if not all) but you have to pay for it (it worths every cent though).

I do not feel that WineX is worth paying for, because I already have windows, which will run all of my games.
Does WINE support DirectX? |

The thing is, I want to get away from Windows, but I am a casual gamer.
I want to play my games without Windows, but I don't want to pay extra to play games that I can currently play for free. |
