printers
I have a HP laserjet 4L printer set up on my lan with a print server that plugs into the paralll port inside of the printer with a cat-5 cable going to a switch, the server is dchp and works great with the windows systems.
I want to confiqure the linux systems to use the same printer server. red hat ver 7.2 and another one with ver 9.0. do I set it up as I do the windows, local printer and then create a tcp/ip port any help will appricated |

I am able to ping the server with all systems ok
|

got the linux system to see the printer and print to it,
but the printout is supposed to be one page and it comes out with 4 pages and it is 4 times as big as it should be. so what could be the possile problem now. |
