Linux vs RedHat vs UNIX

whats the difference in Linux, Redhat and UNIX?? isn't Redhat a version of Linux and UNIX a different OS all together???

Red Hat is Linux. There are different distros of Linux. Linux was meant to offer a free version of an o/s similar to Unix.
