click on the icon on the far left
it will work like windows with the start programs look for the one that says command, I think on your system are you aware that there is a help file that will help you with all the system operations Last edited by bailey; 12-25-2003 at 01:01 PM. |

sorry I miss led you on the command line
on the task bar at the bottom there are some icons one of them looks like a computer clock on it and it will bring up the terminal program which is the command line sorry about that |

Click on the start button, select RUN, type xterm and press enter.

for the real adventurous switch to run level 3, no GUI at all, nothing but command line
