linux
does anyone have a copy of linux i could have or any other OS besides windows. i plan to install 1 or 2 on my computer and then i might put them up for download on my website.

you can download most of the distros for free off of the websites of the respective distros. only want to try this if you are on broadband

You can go to linuxiso.org and download whatever you want for free. You can go to www.edmunds-enterprises.com and get already-burned CDs for $10 or less. You can buy a distro-specific book with a copy of the distro on CD or DVD. There are dozens of ways to get Linux -- all of them easy, all of them poweful, and all of them remarkably inexpensive -- and hugely fun!!

Try www.linuxiso.org. They have a good supply of distributions.
