Mandrake

does anyone know if I can install mandrake 9.2 on the same hard drive I use with Windows ME ?

If there's room (i.e. unpartitioned space) on your drive then yes. If there is no unpartitioned space, you could still use third party partitioning software and shrink one of your partitions to make room. HTH

That's not a problem. With WinME you are likely on FAT32. If you have about 1GB or so unused space, the partitioning tool with the Mandrake installer will help you to set up the necessary separate partitions for your choice of Linux filesystem(s). Actually 1GB is a bit on the small side, but you could at least set up a Linux playgraound to see what it is like.
